Privacy Policy

Peninsula Wallpaper supplies and installs wallcoverings across the Mornington Peninsula and the Gold Coast. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Enquiries, quotes and custom designs — your name, email, phone number (optional), project address or suburb, project details, and any photos, plans or artwork you upload.

Consultation requests — the details you enter when requesting a time through our booking calendar (provided by Cal.com).

AI visualiser— the wall photo and design you upload to create a preview. After your first free preview, we ask for your name and email; from then on we keep a copy of your photos, designs and previews with your details so we can help with your project. We also keep an anonymous usage log (time, approximate suburb or city, device type) — it doesn't include your name, email, photos or IP address.

Online shop orders — checkout, payment and delivery details are collected and processed by Shopify on our behalf. We never see or store your full card details.

Website analytics— anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, device, country) through Vercel Analytics, which doesn't use cookies to identify you.

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange consultations and installations, fulfil orders, provide visualiser previews, and contact you about your project. We don't sell your information, and we only send marketing emails if you've agreed to receive them — you can unsubscribe at any time.

Only the service providers that help us run the website and business: Vercel (website hosting and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Google (the AI model that creates visualiser previews — your wall photo and design are sent to it to generate the image), Cal.com (consultation bookings) and Shopify (online orders and payments). Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We keep your information for as long as we need it for your project and our business records, then delete or de-identify it. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no online service is completely secure.

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing Projects@peninsulawallpaper.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
