The Detail
Toblerone Hemp is a rich, dark chocolate hemp grasscloth: a natural, hand-woven fibre with a warm horizontal grain and a soft, low sheen that shifts with the light. Deep and enveloping on a feature wall, it brings genuine texture and warmth that a painted finish can't. As with all natural grasscloth, shade and grain vary gently from panel to panel. That's part of the material's character.
A note on natural materials
Natural wallcoverings intentionally contain variations in colour, texture, weave and shading. These characteristics are part of the material and are not defects. We recommend ordering sufficient material from the same dye lot in a single order, and hanging every length the same way up (non-reverse hang) so the weave runs consistently across the wall.
Please note: sales of natural wallcoverings are final and non-refundable.

- Installation notes
- Natural material — non-reverse hang and work from a single batch. Professional installation recommended.
- Natural wallcoverings aren't stain-repellent treated, so treat the surface gently.
- Blot any spill straight away with a clean, dry, white cloth. Dab lightly, never rub.
- Dust occasionally with a vacuum on a soft brush attachment.
- Don't use water, sprays or detergents on the surface.
- Trying something new? Test it on a hidden spot first, and if it isn't working, stop and contact us.
- 01Prepare the walls first — clean, dry, smooth, and primed. Natural fibres telegraph any imperfection beneath them.
- 02Due to the thickness of the material, paste both the paper and the wall.
- 03Work from a single dye lot and check each roll against the last before hanging. Hang every length the same way up (non-reverse hang) so the weave runs consistently across the wall.
- 04This wallcovering does not wrap sharp corners — cut it at the corner and restart the next length on the adjoining wall.
- 05Butt-join seams with a sharp blade and a straight edge; do not overlap.
- 06Keep adhesive off the face, and do not get moisture on the surface. If you do, gently wipe with a damp microfibre cloth — never rub.
- 07Professional installation is strongly recommended.
